After a highly successful 2026 regional tournament hosted by Barnes Butte Elementary of Prineville, the tournament now shifts to Redmond.

When : Saturday, March 6, 2027 from 9:00 to 4:00 pm

 

 

Pia Alliende, District Librarian for Redmond School District and Jennifer Hitchcock, Tumalo Community School Librarian and a senior moderator in our region, have secured the venue and will be providing updates as the season progresses. 

The Jefferson County District Library (JCLD) OBOB page will also be providing updates.

A potential conflict  

The Grades 3-5 Tournament in Bend has been moved to the same weekend as our tournament. This happened in 2024.  With two large tournaments taking place on the same day, officials could be in short supply.  If you know of anyone who would be interested in moderating, please reach out to Pia, Jennifer or myself.
