The Impact You’ll Make

As a Library Board Member, your voice will influence policies and strategic priorities that directly impact how our community learns, connects, and grows. You’ll be part of a team that ensures the library remains a trusted, innovative, and accessible resource for generations to come.

What You’ll Do

• Participate in regular board meetings (typically monthly) to discuss library operations, policies, and strategic initiatives.
• Review and approve budgets to ensure responsible stewardship of public resources.
• Advocate for the library within the community and with local decision-makers.
• Collaborate with fellow board members and library leadership to set long-term goals.
• Support fundraising efforts, community events, and outreach initiatives.
